Often called “bleaching” is offered. We use a system that you can take home and control on your own.

AT HOME TRAYS
Although we cannot always predict what the outcome of this type of whitening system will be, it is likely that you will see 4-10 shades lighter and whiter. However the cost is significantly less with take home trays than is in office whitening.

EXISTING DENTAL WORK
Whitening trays will not lighten existing dental work such as crowns, bridges, fillings or partials. Therefore you may not want to whiten your teeth lighter than any dental work that you can see in your smile. It is unrealistic to expect that your teeth will be of a pure white shade from whitening.

WHAT TO EXPECT
You can expect that whitening will remove stains brought on by smoking, coffee, tea, and soda. Do not expect that discoloration from medications will be removed from teeth whitening. (You may want to consider veneers)
You will be given a custom made tray/s that fits in your mouth. Enough bleach to last approximately 1-2 weeks. You will be given instructions on how to use the bleach and what to expect.
